Arnica Montana oil is the only home made infused oil currently used in my products.
Infusing the oils can be done by using a double boiler or crock pot. I chose the double boiler method, but I think the crock pot might be a better choice in the future.
I began with roughly 2 cups dried organic Arnica flowers and added organic olive oil until it was just over the flowers. Then it simmered around 3 hours. I then strained it using cheesecloth and portioned the oil into 4 oz glass amber dropper bottles.
In the summer time, I will be infusing many other herbs using the sunlight.
