The Pain Salves are made using a double boiler to melt the bases such as beeswax or shea butter. I add essential oils; the amount and particular oil varies depending on which remedy I am working on.

I use amber or blue glass jars for the salves because they help to prevent UV rays from damaging the properties of the essential oils.
